Eclipse Custom Homes is a dynamic design-to-build remodeling and custom home company that serves the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, including: Grapevine, Southlake, Keller, Colleyville, Coppell, Carrollton, Flower Mound, and more.
Our home remodeling services include custom homes, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, garages, and whole-house remodeling.
Founded in 2020 by Trenton Brown, Coby Minton, and Tracy Minton, Eclipse Custom Homes has earned a reputation for excellent communication, quality construction, and outstanding customer service.

Preserving The Past
Texas is rich with history and Eclipse Custom Homes is proud to honor this by helping to preserve numerous historical buildings and homes. Renovating a historical property can be a challenge because you want to update the location, but not take away the history. Eclipse Custom Homes has experience renovating and restoring historical properties from permitting to competition.
When it comes to getting the work done, attention to detail is critical. Working on a historical home or building means focusing on preservation, restoration, rehabilitation, and adaptive reuse. This can involve protecting and conserving the history of the structure as it had been used in the past.
Renovating historic properties requires a lot of added time and dedication. Our goal is to bring new life and purpose to the historical properties we work on. Eclipse Custom Homes is a family owned and operated business working to take care of our great state.
Meet Our Team
Trenton Brown is a Co-Founder and Managing Director of Eclipse Custom Homes. Born and raised in the DFW area, Trenton comes from a longline of family working in construction. Prior to becoming a general contractor, Trenton spent the prior 10 years as a master plumber and painter. He also has a long history of experience in building cross-functional teams, real estate investing, and life planning.
Trenton deeply cares about the outcomes of his projects and satisfaction of his clients. His goal is for each project to create lifelong clients.
Coby Minton is a Co-Founder and Executive Director of Eclipse Custom Homes. Born and raised in the DFW area, Coby has a long history working in historical renovations, design-to-build construction, and remodeling. Beyond his passion for building beautiful homes, he deeply believes in creating lasting relationships with each client. Coby cares about the quality and experience you have when working with himself and the Eclipse team.
Every project no matter how big or how small is an exciting opportunity to create something great together and he looks forward to serving his neighbors in Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, and surrounding areas for many years to come.
Tracy Minton
Head of Operations
Tracy Minton has a longstanding career in finance and operations. She grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah where she began her career in finance with Fidelity Investments. It wasn't long before she traveled the country and came across Grapevine, Texas. She immediately fell in love with Grapevine, which is known for its restored 19th- and 20th-century buildings, charming downtown Main Street, and the Cotton Belt Railroad District home to artisans' workshops. After relocation to Grapevine, she met the love of her life, Coby, they built their dream home and are raising their son, Daniel in the place they love. After 26-years with Fidelity, Tracy decided to dedicate her expertise and passion to supporting Trent and Coby with Eclipse.
Tracy's mission is to share her passion for Texas and home building/remodeling with others, so they too can live their best lives.
Charles "Edd" Cook was born and raised in small town Louisiana. Having a talent for throwing a baseball allowed Edd to go to college on a baseball scholarship and earn a business degree. After college he moved to the DFW metroplex and began a career in sales. Edd has worked for the past 10+ years in the construction industry. Much of that time was in flooring. After learning the in's and out's of the business, Edd became the top salesman and was awarded employee of the year at his previous company. Looking for more of a challenge, Edd joined the team at Eclipse in 2022.
In his spare time he enjoys being outside. Edd enjoys golfing, fishing, paddle boarding, and spending time with his wife.
